It was going to be a great weekend, just Bird and his best friend Mark going camping in the canyon. Maybe the two of them would hunt up some Indian ruins or find some other adventure. The canyons of Texas offered lots of possibilities for adventure. But when Bird and Mark ran into Jake Rossi, recently released from prison, they discovered just how much of an adventure this camping trip was going to be.
